Wigmore Youth FC

Welcome to the new Wigmore Youth Football Club official website. This new site is currently under construction and will grow over the coming months to become a useful source of information to its visitors. Please be aware that the site is still being constructed and some links on the left hand menu will not function at the moment.

Wigmore Youth Football Club was established in 1973. The Club is a member of the Medway News Youth League and is affiliated to the Kent Football Association. The Club is one of the largest clubs in the League and fields teams in the league from the Under 8 age group right through to Under 18s. In addition, the Club has a crèche for children 7 years old and younger, as well as an adult team. The Club’s home ground is Kings Frith playing fields in Wigmore, although the small-sided teams play at Fairview Community Primary School and St Augustines.
Wigmore Youth FC is a FA Charter Standard Club. The FA Charter Standard Clubs programme, supported by FA Community Partner McDonald's, was launched in February 2001 and is a core component of The FA Football Development programme. The Charter Standard Scheme is a best practice guide that sets standards of coaching, administration and child protection for clubs working with young people.

The Club is entirely self-funding, raising cash through registration fees, fund raising activities and sponsorship.
